Pfc Kenneth L. Chase, Anti-tank Company, 253rd Infantry is trying to locate 1/Lt James B McIlwee, 0550357, Anti-Tank Company 253d Infanty. Lt McIlwee was wounded on 18 Feb 45 and injured on 1 April 1945 at the same time as Kenneth when their jeep hit a shell hole at night. Kenneth did not provide the name of his Lieutenant. Barrie. Traecy's Radio Team was assigned to the 253rd Infantry Regiment and he accompanied the Regiment to France leaving New York in November 1944.
