| The next series of photographs were furnished by Anton A. Jarosik, nephew of T/5 George Soper a member of the 63rd Infantry Division Band. In addition to photos of training at Camp Van Dorn, MS, the 63d Inf Div Band during combat and the occupation period, the photos provide a good look at another side of Army life at Camp Van Dorn- that of the off post life of some of the married soldiers of the 63rd Infantry Division. I have included those photos as a way to record what our families were wearing at the time and under what conditions some of them were living. The total file of photos totals over 100 photos. |
