HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I hope you are healthy and happy as we
move into a new year filled with we
know not what.
Since I skipped the Newsletter Issue for
December I have some catching up to
do. Please take the time to check out
the new items on the web site.
WEB SITE ADDRESS
Please don't forget that I have changed
the address of the web site and it is now
http://www.63rdinfdiv.com. You can still
access the 63rd Infantry Division
Association Web site at the old address:
http://www.63rdinfdivassn.com but it is no
longer updated. All new entries are being
made to the new site.
I hope you will enjoy the new site and I
would appreciate your comments or
suggestions concerning its layout and
ease of using.
One item that I mentioned in my last
newsletter has been deleted since it
never did work that well, all of the time.
I have deleted the SEARCH box on
the first page. When it worked it was
great, but for some reason it didn't
always work. I am trying to work out
the kinks and will put it back on the web
site when it is more reliable.

"BUSINESS CARDS" FOR 63RD
INFANTRY DIVISION
VETERANS.
A few years ago I prepared a "business
card" with my name and unit showing
that I was a WWII Combat
Infantryman. I used this card when I
attended the annual Peace Meeting at
the Cross of the Jebsheim Mill in
Jebsheim France. It was quite popular
so I made others for a number of 63rd
Infantry Division veterans.
I am again offering to make these cards
for 63rd Infantry Division veterans.
Samples of this type of card can be
found by clicking HERE.
I will make ten (10) cards per individual
for the minimum cost of $6.00 which
includes postage. All funds collected for
this effort will be donated to
maintenance of Division Memorials and
to the 63rd Infantry Division Association
treasury.(50% for memorials and 50%
to the Association Treasury). Division
Memorials I have in mind initially are the
memorial at Camp Blanding Florida, the
F/253rd Memorial at Buchhof,
Germany, and The Cross of the
Jebsheim Mill, Jebsheim France
Since I will absorb the cost of materials
and postage, 100% of all funds
collected will be donated as described
above. If you would like to add a little
something to your $6.00 cost of the
cards please feel free to do so. All
additional funds will be included in the
donations. Please make your checks
payable to Fred Clinton and mail your
order to Fred Clinton 102 South
Jenkins Street, Alexandria, Virginia
22304. . 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
REUNIONS
Don't forget to make your plans now to
attend the Annual 63rd Infantry Division
Reunion to be held in Branson, MO in
August 2002. Go to the Reunions Page
for details.
PHOTO SECTIONS:
There are a number of new photos in the
Photo Sections of the web site, but more
importantly I have done two things that I
hope will help you review all of the over 300
photos on the site.
You will note on the Index Page references
to Photo Index pages for each of the Photo
Sections including a listing of photos on Unit
pages. Once you access the Index you are
interested in you can click on the Photo
description provided and go to that photo.
You will also note on the Index Page a
reference to Pages with thumbnail images of
each photo. Once you have accessed the
Thumbnail Photo page you are interested in
all you have to do is click on the photo
image and go to the regular sized photo.
Each photo in this section has an identifying
title. Place your arrow on the photo and a
description of the photo will appear.
Left-click the photo twice and you will be
taken to the page showing the normal sized
photo.
I hope this new additions will help you surf
the photo sections a lot easier.
Don't forget to keep those photos coming in.
WWII MEMORIAL AND ARMY
MUSEUM
Work on the WWII Memorial is underway
and to the best of my knowledge it will
continue without interruption.
The decision to construct an Army Museum
at Fort Belvoir, Virginia has been made. I
will keep you informed of progress. Just in
case you were not aware of where Fort
Belvoir is located, it is just outside of
Alexandria, Virginia and a few miles from
downtown Washington, D C
PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OUR
BUDDIES
As we grow a little older each year there
comes a time when we are not as healthy as
we were when we were training and fighting
in the 63rd Infantry Division. At times we
become ill and are in need of some
encouraging words from our relatives and
friends. With this in mind I ask that we all
take the time to send a few words of
encouragement to our buddies when they
are in need. If you know of a 63rd Infantry
Division veteran who could use a few kind
words from his buddies, please let me
know. and I will include a notice in the next
Newsletter.
This month I ask that you take the time to
send a message of hope and encouragement
to Robert N. Chadwick, C Btry 718th FA
Bn. Robert has recently had a stroke and
his son advises me that he could use a little
moral support. You can contact Robert at
the following e-mail address:
