you.

upcoming reunion next month and I am
looking forward to seeing my old buddies

US POSTAGE PHOTO STAMPS:
In past newsletters I referred to a new
system whereby you can have US Postage
stamps made with a photo of your choice,
within certain guidelines. I had some made
for the 63rd Infantry Division and was very
happy with the results.
The program was discontinued for a short
period of time and then restarted. When I
made application for more 63d Infantry
Division and 254th Infantry Regiment stamps
my request was denied "because of policy".
Not happy with that answer I wrote to the
Postmaster General and requested exception
to whatever policy prevented me from
honoring my WWII buddies. My request
was approved and I now have 39 cent
stamps with the 63d Infantry Division insignia
and another with the 254th Infantry
Regiment crest. (Images of my stamps
appear below)
If you are interested in having similar stamps
made go to the following web site for details:
http://www.photostamps.com
The 39 cent stamps come in sheets of 20
and cost about .80 cents per stamp.
