| The following group of photographs were furnished by Raymond G Smith, son of 1st Lt Sylvester Russell Smith of E, F, G & H Companies 255th Infantry Regiment. It is not known exactly when the photos were taken, except to know that they were taken after the war . It is also noted that some of the photos show Smith as a Captain. He was probably promoted after leaving the division. |
