|In 1966 the 63rd Infantry Division Association prepared the following proclamation for presentation to Brigadier
General Frederick M. Harris, Assistant Division Commander of the 63rd Infantry Division. As I understand the
reason for this proclamation, General Harris reverted to his permanent grade of Colonel after the war.
