The 63rd Infantry Division Memorial Plaque, Riverside National
Cemetery, Riverside, California
The 63rd Infantry Division Association, USAR authorized and dedicated a bronze
plaque at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. The plaque was
dedicated on Armed Forces Day, 19 May 2001. In attendance at the dedication
were representatives of the WWII 63rd Infantry Division Association, members of
the 63rd Infantry Division Association, USAR and local civic leaders.
The plaque, pictured below, was dedicated in the honor of those soldiers who served
in the World War II division, in the Reserve Division and its sucessor units.
The 63rd Infantry Division has evolved into the 63rd Reserve Support Command.
